Bangor Security Services was founded in 2017 by Raheem Pontiflet, who was inspired by his work as a Florida Correction Officer and a vision to create a security company that was different from the typical kind of firms commonly found in the private security industry. Raheem Pontiflet – Director of Security / Founder

Raheem leads the development and growth of Bangor Security, pioneering new ideas to address the ever-changing security needs for Businesses, Churches and Government entities. He manages the day-to-day operations of Bangor Security which include the review and oversight of office administrators, supervisory command staff, security guards, ongoing security assignments, and the training department for our security guards.

Raheem is a proud graduate of  University of Central Florida (UCF Knights) in Orlando, Florida. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies, with a minor in Applied Computer Science and lettered 2 years while playing defensive end (#98)  on the UCF FOOTBALL TEAM (Click on the PLAY BUTTON to see Raheem in action). He is also a Certified Correction Officer and a Florida Licensed Private Security Guard. He has received extensive training in the areas of Management.

Tameka Pontiflet – Director of Business Development

Tameka Pontiflet is Director of Business Development, Bangor Security Services, Inc. Everest University Graduate (bachelor’s degree, Criminal Justice) and currently pursuing a Master Degree in Business Administration. Mrs. Pontiflet is an former law enforcement police officer with more than 5 years of public and private experience in policing and management. Tameka is a Florida native who was born in Tampa and grew up in an East Tampa neighborhood.

Tameka is responsible for developing, managing, and following up on new business opportunities. Coordinates meetings with prospective customers and assists with setting up consultations between new/prospective customers and Owner. Develops marketing plan and advertising materials. Her unique understanding of the city and her ability to work well with people from any walk of life are strengths that help Bangor Security to truly excel. She utilizes many of the strategies and policies employed by the law enforcement community and applies them to the various levels of security needed in the private sector.
